In August, these efforts paid off with several significant initiatives aimed at protecting endangered species, restoring marine habitats, and raising public awareness about the importance of conservation. 🌊🪸

Bali Beach Clean Up

R.O.L.E Foundation x ClubOcean®

August 23th, 2024, 43 volunteers form our friend R.O.L.E Foundation have collected 298,5kg of waste on the Kelan Beach. Together we continue our efforts every month to restore the island's beaches to their natural health, to give marine creatures a favourable environment in which to live. 🏝️💛

Protecting Giant Mammal

Whales Wise x ClubOcean®

Whale Wise is a UK registered charity, based in South Wales. They uses modern methods to monitor interactions between human activity and whale populations, such as drones and hydrophones. To do this, they work with academic partners and local communities. By conducting research and sharing it directly with industry and policy-makers to inform sustainable and respectful use of our oceans. 🐋🔎

Underwater Life is Precious

OCEAN GARDNER x ClubOcean®

With a hundred new corals planted in addition to those already maintained by Ocean Gardner, this month has been devoted to educating local fishermen about the importance of conserving coral on the coast and teaching them the right reflexes. 🪸🐠

A Better Place for Turtles

DEKAFOK x ClubOcean®

This month our friends at Dekafok built a new protection site and laboratory for sea turtle research, and will now have first-aid units with four basins to care for injured turtles in line with EU standards. What's more, two sea turtles rescued a few months ago were released after treatment. All this was made possible thanks to the volunteers on site and your invaluable support. 🥚🐢
