ClubOcean supports The Turtle Hospital in Marathon, Florida (USA), in its efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and release sea turtles. 🐢🏥
The Turtle Hospital is a care center specializing in the rescue and rehabilitation of sea turtles in distress. Located in Florida, this dedicated facility is dedicated to protecting these vulnerable species and preserving their natural habitats.
Het Turtle Hospital -team bestaat uit ervaren dierenartsen, mariene biologen en verzorgers die attente medische zorg bieden aan zeeschildpadden die gewond zijn, ziek of slachtoffers van menselijke bedreigingen. Their aim is to restore the turtles' health and strength, so that they can be released back into their natural environment in top condition.
The center also plays a crucial role in public education and awareness. Ze organiseren educatieve rondleidingen, educatieve programma's voor scholen en gemeenschapsevenementen om mensen te informeren over zeeschildpadden, de bedreigingen waarmee ze worden geconfronteerd en de acties die iedereen kan ondernemen om hen te beschermen.
